Matsuno Sushi Fusion in Montreal

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch there! We didn't have high expectations because all you can eat restaurants in the West Island have become pretty bad over the past few years, but Matsuno really surprised us! The restaurant itself is very nice,modern and spacious! We didn't feel overwhelmed by the ambiance even if the restaurant was full. The waiters were also nice and lovely to talk to! The service was really fast too.As for the food, everything was so good! They have a nice selection for lunch. They have a few uncommon sushi choices which was fun to try instead of always selected the same types at every restaurant. We were pleased with the taste and quality of everything we ordered.I can only imagine what they're supper menu is like if they're lunch menu was already so good!

Absolutely delicious. Fresh sushi, great atmosphere, waiters and waitresses are extremely helpful and cater to your needs. I highly recommend going here, the price point is perfect for an a-la-carte meal. Once went with 8 people and service was still quite fast, and it was a full-house. No complaints, will definitely visit many more times.

Really great food. Good staff. Clean restaurant. Only thing I can say that’s not very good is the long wait especially on weekends without reservations. But it’s well worth it considering the affordable prices and the good quality of food. Would Highly recommend.

The portions were good, the taste was good i always check if the Dragon eye is good means they know how to make sushi. Delicious!

The hot and sour soup tastes good, but I really hope next time they can warm it up. The beef tartare and tuna didn't have any tastes. But the sashimis and the rolls were really fresh and good.

Allways a great time! Reserve 2 days in advance or show up at 11:30 first come first serve. 45 min wait.

Super busy around lunch time and we waited for almost 1hr for a table of 5. So u’d better make ur reservation. Food are good and served really fast! They also have vegetarian food. I literally tried all their meat dishes, General Tao , sesame beef are so good! Chicken popcorn as well.

At first I thought it was that I am used to absolutely no customer service whenever I go to an all-you-can-eat restaurant but then I realized every single person that diners at this restaurant loves this place. Aside from their food being delicious and their fish being so fresh, the options and service are also amazing. We arrived at the restaurant 5 minutes before it opened for dinner and got a table for 7 right away although I’d recommend making a reservation ahead of time if possible (they don’t take same day reservations) as this place gets extremely busy very quickly. 5 stars!

You should definitely reserve if you wanna get in within 5 min, otherwise good luck waiting for 40 min. Food was delicious as always. Description should be clearer, fusion roll with chicken is a no-no. And at the end, there was still one missing plate that the waiter decided not to bring. Other than that, it’s a lovely place. If you’re more that 4 insist on the phone for a couch.

Best all you can eat sushi in town

I must admit, this place has the best sushi in town. Very fast service. You have to reserve in advance or be there early if you don't want to wait. Reasonable price. Just make sure that you have an empty stomach before you visit.

Better food than Sushi St-Jean or Kanda. Much better. BUT, most servers are either rude or totally jaded. Customer service is lacking here.If you don't care about that aspect of the experience, I would totally recommend this spot.

Fast & fun service. Large Verity and tasty sushi. Drinks are well priced. Note: Our group had reservations but be warned that you'll wait if you don't.

This was the second all you can eat sushi place I have tried in the area and was very impressed. Price was veey reasonable for lunch hour and very fast service with delicious food. There are options for everyone!

Went with our 6 month old baby. We had a reservation and we were seated promptly and given a high chair. The waiter we had was so accommodating, offering to bring us avocado and strawberry slices for the baby. All food was tasty and served with minimal wait. We will definitely be back.

Went for Friday Lunch (16.99). Quick and great service despite being so busy. Unlike other ayce places that put extra salt in everything, matsuno didnt do that. My new fav ayce place to go to. Would definitely recommend.

If you arrive anytime after 5:30 on a busy day, you'll be waiting in line for well over an hour just to get into the restaurant. Not worth your time for the mediocre food they offer here.

The service is super fast! Nice quality and yummy food! Love their popcorn chicken, quite authentic Taiwanese style! Amazing tempuras & fresh sashimi

Ordered the 60 piece sushi plater for delivery and it was amazing!! Obviously fresh and so much diversity and flavour. Am definitely ordering again and will make it my go to sushi place 👍🏼

Horrible experience. I bought a 43 piece for take out. When i got home i realized there was only 31 pieces. I tried to call them (2 times) no answer. I went back to the place (20min drive). Got there and they took the plate gave back the same one but took out 5 pieces and replaced them with 6 avocado small pieces. I got home and realized that. Definitely NEVER going there again. The food is now cold and not pleasant. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this after such a horrible experience.

Went for the lunchtime special and will definitely go again. The service was so fast, the ordering by tablet straight forward, the food super fresh and delicious. I went with my daughter, who doesn't like sushi and her friend who does like sushi and both found an awesome assortment of food to order, as did I. Highly recommended, although probably not needed, as the line out the door to get a table was substantial.

Fantastic food is great but get there early because line up is crazy and you might not even get to eat. You can also book 24 hrs in advance

Great all you can eat sushi went during lunch time got seated right away! Came in for 1:30 left at2:45 pm. There are some missing options from night menu that doesn’t show up on day time menu is the only reason I’m not giving the full 5 star. Also they got rid of the fried ice cream which I was disappointed to hear! Overall service and food is great. Inside info try to order a lot of sushi so you can get the sushi boat!

If you’re a sushi fan this is the best sushi buffet in Montreal with very affordable price You have to reserve in advance tho

Yesterday was the first time we visited this restaurant. But It is obviously not the last time. We enjoyed the evening a lot with the good service, with the fine cooking and wine and with the modest cost. We will surely visit there again.

The best all you can eat sushi place in the West Island. The inside is modern and clean and they appear to be very well organized. As for the Sushi itself they have a lot of selection and everything seems fresh. I rarely give 5 stars but they are close.

it's okay the Asian food is loaded with MSG but for the price I guess it's ok if u like MSG. service was fast! not sure if I'll ever go back.. the owner ask us to pay $5 extra for the good we couldn't finish cause it got cold and hard like a rock... our bill was over $250 so didn't understand why he needed that extra $5.....

I tried this place for the first time tonight with some friends. I was not disappointed. It was a Saturday and super busy so I highly suggest making a reservation like we did!! Even as busy as it was, food was served in a very reasonable time and was oh so delicious. It doesn't state this on the website but there is a drink menu for those looking for a little wine with dinner. Check this place out next time you're in the West!

The food is always fresh, fast and good service. I mean for the price I find the food amazing. Love the shrimp tempura. Weekends can we crowded. Very clean, the washrooms are clean and the fried stuff always come hot

Great food for an all you can eat. Fast service. However, I found it a bit disorganized; we did not receive two things that we ordered (it might just be my perception) Atmosphere is good, but staff members aren't friendly. Loved the green tea ice cream, the best! Hopefully I can come back to Montreal one day and visit Matsuno again.

Terrible service. Staff gave me attitude since the second we walked in. I asked for the table to be wiped again as it smelled rotten. Super unsanitary. The mop they use smells rotten too. The sushi is the worst in the West Island hands down. Far from fresh. Cheap portions. They fill it up with too much rice and too little toppings. The fish is most definitely not fresh. Will never go again.

Went for lunch. The service is good and fast. The selection is vast. However the food taste, freshness and quality are under what other similar eateries offer. Some food was too bland while other was way too salty.

I went during the afternoon.I would recommend reserving before going because there are a lot of people who go.We had to wait in line for a while.The service is really fast and the quality is good.Ordering is really easy since there is the tablet system.The sushi is really good and the display of how they put the sushi is good.The price is really worth it since it is only around 20$ for an amazing all you can eat.I will go back for sure.

Very solid place. Not the greatest tasting food, but all tasty. Nice portions to try a lot. Good service that's quick and friendly.

Really good food quality for all you can eat sushi place. I will come back again and again. The place is always packed so it is better to get a reservation. If you don't mind eating early you can go at 5pm no reservation needed but they give you a 2h window to eat.

Five star all you can eat sushi, very crowded

I was pleasantly surprised on how fast the servings came and how well the sushi was prepared and presented. We came here for the dinner buffet on a Monday night and it was priced at $25.99 per person. It was more than worth the price. The sushi were lovely and delicious, and there's a wide variety of dishes to choose from other than the usual sushi like steam buns, general Tao, ramen (didn't try this one), and others. And the hot tea that they serve will be refilled with a fresh tea pot and not just fill it up with hot water even when the tea bag is already used up lile in other places. The restaurant is clean and easy to find. If you're in the area, give this place a try.

I wish I have read the reviews before!!!Food is below average but nice, not much complain. The service also same as other all-you-can-eat. What is different, make sure you pay enough tip, I mean enough tip. The waiter didn’t leave our table. I even asked for the manager and same!!!! There is another restaurant just around here which we had a better experience
